Ottawa’s favourite FREE summer Latin dance social is back after a 2-year break!
This year’s Salsa at City Hall will take place on Wednesdays, July 13 to August 31, 6-11 pm!
As usual, we will be outdoors on the Rink of Dreams whenever possible, and indoors inside City Hall in case of bad weather.
EVENT SCHEDULE
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Introduction to Latin Dance
The first two hours of each night are all about beginners! We are partnering with Ottawa’s beginner-friendly dance schools, which will take charge of this part of the night and offer absolute beginner lessons, accessible social dancing music, and a few beginner-welcoming animation activities to showcase what makes their school unique.
8:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Latin Dance Social
We continue the night with 3 uninterrupted hours of social dancing, to music provided by Ottawa’s favourite Latin dance DJs! Music mix will be minimum 50% salsa, around 30% bachata, and up to 20% merengue/cha-cha/zouk/kizomba.Cost: Free
